Hi! My name is Esme Johnson, a student at the University of Edinburgh.
I’m passionate about using digital storytelling to create meaningful change, and I bring that energy to my role in the Social Media team at Wishes Just 4 You. With a strong background in video editing and content creation, I’m proud to help share the inspiring work of this charity and contribute to its mission of bringing joy and hope to those who need it most.

Adam Heslop
Video Editing & Content Creation
I am a creative storyteller who enjoys using film, social media, and my life experiences to help others and share important messages, such as understanding and accepting disabilities. I grew up in Tower Hamlets in a mixed-heritage family and was diagnosed with high-functioning autism at age five. In my early 20s, I had a serious health problem and spent four months in hospital. I suddenly lost the ability to speak, eat, move, and walk, and had to slowly relearn these skills. This experience made me want to support young people to share their own health stories and raise awareness. I love working with different communities to make content that is clear, friendly, and useful for everyone. I have a BA Honours degree in Film, enjoy learning languages like Spanish and French, and believe strongly in fairness and including everyone. I’m excited to keep learning and do good things to help others.
