Help Make a Christmas Wish Come True
This Christmas, we’re launching our 12 Days of Christmas Wish Tree — a special fundraising initiative supporting children living with life-limiting illnesses. For twelve days, we’ll share one child’s wish and story. Please Donate to support our Wish Fulfilment Program, helping us grant wishes throughout the year, or sponsor a specific wish that speaks to you personally.

12 Christmas Wish Requests
Please look over the below 12 wish requests we are currently working to fulfil and choose one that resonates with you. To direct your donation directly towards this wish please note the child’s name once on the donation portal. All donations will otherwise go towards our wish fulfilment program to support wish requests all year round.

The Stories & Wishes of Children with life-limiting illnesses
Wish Request 1: Rachel
Age: 6
Rachel has a severe neurological disorder and was referred by her community palliative care nurse, who shared that she would deeply benefit from a special day out. Her Christmas wish is for a spa day with her younger sister, Mini (age 3).
Wish Request 2: Samuel
Age: 13
Samuel has a diagnosis of ASD, is non-verbal, and primarily uses visual communication. He attends a SEN school and was referred due to the importance of providing experiences tailored to his needs and interests. His wish focuses on activities he enjoys, particularly swimming and spending time outdoors. He would love to visit local parks, such as Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park, with a family day ticket so he can enjoy a meaningful day out with his family.
Wish Request 3: Conor
Age: 15
Conor has a neurogenetic condition and was referred as a young person who would greatly benefit from a special experience with his family.
His Christmas wish is for a steam train experience, including a family day ticket to a winter event, as well as a steam train railway set so he can continue enjoying trains at home.
Wish Request 4: Christopher
Age: 16
Christopher has complex health conditions, is wheelchair dependent, and spends a significant amount of time in hospital, having missed out on many school activities. An upcoming major surgery makes this wish especially meaningful. Christopher enjoys gaming, baking, Marvel, Disney, and having a laugh with others. His wishes include visiting Disneyland Paris, receiving a gaming PC to use while in hospital and at home, or enjoying a family day out such as Legoland with an overnight stay in an adapted room so he can create lasting memories with his family.
Wish Request 5: Wesley
Age: 13
Wesley has complex health conditions, including cerebral palsy, visual impairment, and epilepsy, among other diagnoses.
His wishes include a musical and heated water mattress to help with relaxation and pain relief, a stay at West Midlands Safari Park where he can enjoy animals and the outdoors, or attending Disney on Ice, including a meet and greet, as he is a huge Mickey Mouse and Disney fan.
Wish Request 6: Olivia
Age: 10
Olivia has complex health conditions, including a heart condition and selective mutism. She uses a walking frame and wheelchair and attends frequent hospital appointments. Her wishes focus on activities she can enjoy safely and independently.
She loves singing, art, music, animals, water, and imaginative play. A theatre show experience would be especially meaningful, offering creative stimulation and enjoyment in a supportive environment.
Wish Request 7: Linden Bridge
Institutional Wish
Linden Bridge is a special education school seeking support to provide creative opportunities for older students with special needs.
Their Christmas wish is for art supplies to support fabric design, textiles, batik, and tie-dye techniques, including wax, tools, dyes, and related materials. Previous kits have deteriorated, and replacing them would otherwise take up a large portion of the school’s yearly budget.
Wish Request 8: Liam
Age: Unknown
Liam enjoys colouring and creating his own art shapes on paper. He prefers to remain in his safe space at home and does not wish to go out.
His Christmas wish is for art materials and equipment he can use comfortably at home, including art marker pens, drawing paper, a laptop tray for colouring in his safe space, and a new iPad to support creative expression.
Wish Request 9: Amelia
Age: 10
Amelia has a learning disability and previously underwent 18 months of chemotherapy. She was referred by her foster carer, who is seeking a local experience that will feel special and joyful.
Her Christmas wish is to ride in an open-topped car, something she regularly asks about whenever she sees one.
Wish Request 10: Bahir
Age: 6
Bahir has complex, life-limiting cardiac conditions and has previously undergone emergency surgery, with time spent in intensive care on life support.
After being helicopter lifted to the hospital, his Christmas wish is to experience a helicopter ride, as he continues to ask his mother if he can go in one again.
Wish Request 11: Bradford Hospital
Institutional Wish
Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking support to provide art supplies for children’s wards.
Their Christmas wish is for pens, pencils, crayons, paints, glue, scissors, stickers, and similar materials, which are used quickly due to the high number of children cared for each week and play an important role in comfort and creative expression during hospital stays.
Wish Request 12: Children’s Community Nursing Service
Institutional Wish
The Children’s Community Nursing Service and Bradford Hospitals Charity support children living with chronic, acute, and end-of-life illnesses, many from low-income families.
Their Christmas wish is to provide children and families with gifts, festive food hampers, and essential household items to bring warmth, comfort, and joy during the holiday season. They also have an ongoing need for art and craft supplies to help children feel calm, engaged, and creatively stimulated during hospital stays.
All children’s names have been changed for safeguarding and privacy purposes.
